David is a cardiologist who specialises in interventional procedures on coronary arteries such as angiography and coronary stenting. These are routinely performed through the artery in the wrist.

David is also specialised in advanced Structural Heart procedures to repair congenital cardiac defects; reduce the risk of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation who cannot be anticoagulated; repair mitral valves with the MitraClip; and replace aortic valves by TAVI.  All of these procedures are performed from the leg without open-chest surgery.
